Catalina Ariel began her journey as a performer at the age of twelve, drawn to storytelling and the emotional truth found within complex characters. Acting quickly became more than a passion—it became her voice and her way of exploring the human experience. Before fully entering film and theater, she built a foundation in modeling, developing discipline, presence, and a strong sense of visual storytelling. In 2006, she earned her Associate’s degree in Technical Communications, further strengthening her ability to communicate clearly and professionally within creative environments. These experiences opened the door to acting and later to directing, allowing her to approach performance with both artistic sensitivity and technical insight. Her career includes lead roles in Velocity Kings: Ride or Die and Where Is She, as well as a supporting role in Champion, among other film and theatrical projects. Catalina is especially drawn to emotionally driven roles—characters shaped by adversity, resilience, and transformation. She believes the most compelling performances come from authenticity and emotional courage. As her career evolved, Catalina expanded into writing and developing original work to tell stories often left untold. This led to the creation of Given The Unloved Touch, a film and series project based on true events, reflecting her commitment to impactful storytelling that resonates long after the screen fades to black. Catalina Ariel approaches every role and project with intention, respect for the craft, and a deep belief in the power of storytelling to challenge, heal, and inspire. Acting is not simply her profession—it is her life’s work.
